Justin Chan - Electric GuitarJustin Chan is a Programme Executive at the Methodist School of Music (MSM). He has extensive performance experience in both worship and secular contexts, giving him a unique ear for modern music and its applications for worship. Before the call to full-time ministry, he was an engineer by day while playing semi-professionally for weddings, corporate functions, and as a session musician. He has served with the Performing Arts Ministry in Singapore Youth For Christ, New Heart Music Ministries, Arise! Singapore, and is currently a worship leader and music director at Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church.
He graduated with a Master of Divinity from Trinity Theological College, Singapore in 2019. |
Liew Ying Hock - Bass GuitarBass-ically, Ying Hock loves all things bass (sea-bass, maybe not so much). He picked up the instrument at 16 years old, and never looked back. Besides serving in churches, at seminars and conferences, he also plays for weddings and functions occasionally. With the dream of becoming a music director, he pursued a degree in music ministry in Australia, and later served in the Methodist School of Music (MSM) as an instructor. He was also a youth worker for 11 years.
His current work as a system integrator and project manager has helped him to realise that worship music is the same: it’s really putting all the right stuff (the heart especially) in the right places, to serve the greatest purpose of glorifying God! |
Benjamin Lee - DrumsBlessed wishes my brothers and sisters in Christ! I am Benjamin Lee and drumming has been my passion as a kid because I always loved the banging sounds of the drums in church. I decided to pick it up as an opportunity to serve the Lord in the worship ministry since I was 17. In this upcoming online drumming webinar, I would like to share with you the skill set you need to develop in your drumming to be able to serve in your own church music ministry. I pray that through this webinar I can bless you with whatever I know and multiply your skills to serve the Lord. See you there!
